'Don't be afraid to go after what you want to do, and what you want to be.' - Lane Frost
Tobie has been with the IMBA as a contractor, board member, and officer since 2018. Tobie got involved initially as a contractor by allowing youth riders to compete on the appropriate stock in his local area. His goal was to give the riders a chance to compete at a high level in a safe, honest place and, most importantly, put the rider and parent's best interests first. As long as Tobie is part of the IMBA, he continues to strive to provide that environment for youth bull riding.
Melinda comes from a family who shares a passion for rodeo. She has been operating her own youth rodeo production company out of Virginia, 'Baad To The Bone Productions', for the past 10 years. Melinda has been a vital part of the IMBA family for about 4 years and serves as our Vice President.
Glenna plays a crucial role within the
IMBA, having over twenty years of banking experience and serving ten years as a lending/branch manager. Glenna has been our treasurer since 2020, though she has been a follower and a fan of
IMBA for about eight years. She comes from a well-versed rodeo family; her father always played a part in their local rodeos, whether as a contestant or an event organizer. He was also the drill master of the local posse for several years. Glenna's daughter and son-in-law are established
IMBA stock contractors and have a local bull riding association themselves, their son (Glenna's grandson) has been an
IMBA member for the past six years!
Josh is one of the founding members of the IMBA who helped form the association in 2017 out of Saginaw, Texas. He has been a stock contractor for years and runs an additional youth association based in Texas. Josh firmly believes that the IMBA is helping build the next generation of youth bull riders through grit, faith, leadership, and education; by supplying them with the necessary tools and the proper stock for their age and abilities. He aims to provide this generation of young athletes with the skills they need, both in and out of the arena, to become the champions he knows they are.
Mike Chaffin owns AK Bucking Bulls, a youth bull-riding group he founded that the IMBA also sanctions. Mike has always had a passion and special talent within the sport of bull riding. He has held titles within the PRCA, IBR, and PBR. He now has two sons, both of which have competed within the IMBA. We are happy to have such a skillful athlete on our board of directors who enjoys sharing his passion within the youth bull riding community.
Jeff has been a member of the IMBA for almost seven years now. He is well-versed in and around the rodeo industry, as he was a bareback rider in the PRCA back in the 90s. Jeff joined the IMBA in hopes of helping build the sport of bull riding within his area, both correctly and safely.
Denny has been a member of the
IMBA since 2017. He joined the
IMBA to help provide an honest and safe series for young athletes to compete in. Denny has been in the rodeo industry for 30-plus years. Somewhere around '98 was voted in as a bullfighter at the North American Bull Riders finals. He has spent most of my time clowning and being a cowboy protector; he traveled professionally for over five years! We are lucky to have Denny as a part of the
IMBA team.
Thank you to the Cowboy Channel for sponsoring the IMBA!
